Exhibition description

The collaborative drawing/paintings of Wesley Baglin and Phil Edwards explore an overlap between two artists with different pasts in in art. Wes, as a formally untrained but committed artist and Phil, found in each others work a connection that each could relate to. Both artists are interested in exploring, through collaboration, the relationship between personal imagery, figuration, and the imaginative aspects of free drawing and abstraction. Wes and Phil have been working together for some months to produce two series of paintings on paper, some of which have been selected for this exhibition.
